Job Description:

Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation which provides a wide range of aged and community services in Victoria. It is recognised as the first point of call for support and assistance.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this key position provides leadership and guidance to the accounting team ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly accounts and financial reporting for the business.  You will also partner with Business Unit Managers to ensure compliance with finance policies and processes.  Furthermore you will play a key role in the planning and commissioning of a financial system upgrade, continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation and statutory compliance.

You will display strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a commitment to a culture of customer service with demonstrated skills in senior financial management, monthly performance analysis and reporting, administrative capability and an aptitude for systems development with a clear track record of success.  

CA/CPA/IPA qualified, you will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess integrity and expertise which inspires the confidence and respect of others.  A hands-on and strategic approach to the role, combined with practical delivery and the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks concurrently is required. A mature, confident professional possessing strong personal motivation and confirmed people management leadership ability will ensure success in this key strategic position.
