Job Description:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will develop, implement and assesses the effectiveness of the current processes and improve them to achieve optimum quality and improve financial results, within the framework of the mission, values and corporation vision of the organisation.

Key operational responsibilities include:
  • Analyse the business unit's activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices. Presents findings and works with the Business Unit Leader and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals
  • Assist the Business Unit Leader in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/or programs to support the business unit's goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share)
  • Monitor cash flows statements and predict future trends and manage debtors
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction 
  • Create and manage financial models, costing and pricing of service offerings and accounting for capital programs and projects
  • Complete internal reporting and presentations, i.e. variance analysis and key business trends
  • Managing the business planning/budgeting process
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
  • Review, analyse, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions and steps required to develop or modify programs 
CPA/CA qualified you must demonstrate solid experience in management accounting / reporting with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and meet established reporting time frames.  Great Plains experience essential.
